THE new Kestrel S front-mounted arm mower made its national debut at the 2009 Lamma Show. The Kestrel family has been well proven in the field and the addition of a front-mounted option was welcomed with open arms by operators.

The Kestrel S front-mount has a 5m reach, parallel arm geometry and power slew. The machine also has a 30-degree hydraulic breakaway system that has been designed to operate in the changed direction of travel.

The head is powered by a PTO-driven independent pump, while the other services are powered by the tractor’s hydraulic system, switching between cowl and slew operations on the third hydraulic service.
