Energreen: Self-propelled tool carriers launched into UK market

Published on September 13, 2009

ITALIAN designed and manufactured Energreen multifunctional tool-carriers are now available in the UK thanks to a sales and service agreement with Norfolk-based CTM Harpley Engineering Ltd.
These versatile machines have been developed for waterway maintenance, highway and railway vegetation control and amenity space management. Powered by Deere Powersystems engines, they offer up to 18m reach plus a range of attachments including rotating flail heads, weed buckets and forestry maintenance heads.
More than 250 units have already been sold across Europe.
Launched in the UK at Saltex 2009, the Energreen is already creating interest among potential customers that have been impressed with its four-wheel drive/steer manoeuvrability, compact dimensions and driver comfort. The air conditioned cab can be rotated to suit the work in hand so there is no need to look over your shoulder to monitor progress.
Energreen combines the power of an excavator with the flexibility of a tractor.
