New Holland's T9030 made its demonstration debut at Tillage South.
NEW Holland's T9000 has been out and about for the first time, touring the
country to demonstrate that wheeled articulated tractors are capable of playing an integral role on today's arable farms.
This 390hp T9030 was at work at Tillage South, at Down Ampney, Gloucestershire.
The tractor was equipped with Trelleborg 900/60R38 tyres - on a novel
dual-hub wheel developed by New Holland and Trelleborg to spread torque
throughout the axle - which give a compact transport width of just
3.4m. It was also fitted with Intellisteer guidance.
The T9000 range is generating a lot of interest among farmers that
currently run rubber tracked tractors, but are increasingly keen to
reduce their machinery operating running costs.
