AS PART of an initiative to improve the availability and uptake of genuine parts for Landini tractors, staff overseeing the inventory held at Landini UK’s distribution headquarters at Doncaster, South Yorkshire, have put together complete filter kits for the most popular models used in Britain.
“Because these kits include all the filters needed for a full service, it reduces the hassle of forgetting to buy a particular filter,” said Parts Sales Manager Tony Burgess. “It also encourages owners to do a thorough job of servicing the tractor by replacing all necessary filters instead of just changing the most obvious ones.”
Since effective oil filtration is essential if lubricants are to do their job of minimising metal-to-metal wear and tear, the reward for timely replacement of filters is that owners will get the optimum service life from their tractors before an overhaul or repair is needed.
“The other good news is that we’ve priced these kits more cheaply than buying the filters individually,” Mr Burgess added. “We’ve re-priced a lot of Landini parts anyway to ensure they’re fully competitive and cost-effective for end users but the filter kits are especially good value at a saving of between 12% and 18% on individual prices.”
Each boxed kit for the Perkins-engined Landini Powerfarm 75 to 105 (Tier 2), Vision 85 to 105 (Tier 2) and Landpower 125 to 165 (Tier 2), and the Iveco-engined Landpower 125 to 165 (Tier 3), contains filters for the fuel and engine, hydraulic, transmission and steering oil.
The boxed filter kits are available from Landini tractor sales and service dealers located in all areas of Britain.
