Knight's largest trailed sprayer now has a 6,000-litre water tank.
THE highest-capacity trailed Knight sprayer ever built will be the main feature of the company’s stand at the 2010 Lamma Show.
Knight has previously offered its EUA trailed sprayers with capacities from 2,500-5,000 litres and spray booms up to 36m. With its 6,000-litre stainless steel tank, the machine at Lamma is a further development of the range and responds to demand for maximum productivity in spraying operations.  The show machine has a 32m tri-fold boom, although booms up to 40m wide are available.
Like other EUA machines, the show model has a sprung steering axle with an electronic control system, which provides good stability when spraying and accurate tracking performance. A wide choice of drawbars and wheels is available.
A fully integrated control system groups all sprayer functions in a simple multi-function joystick that combines application control, boom switching and all hydraulic functions. Automatic boom height, boom levelling and GPS-activated nozzle switching are also available as optional features.
The EUA models can now be fitted either with the Laser vacuum circulation system, which won an RASE Gold Medal when it was first introduced, or with Knight’s Maximiser pressurised circulation system, which further reduces chemical retention in the spray-lines and shortens washing-out time. The Maximiser system also allows two sets of nozzles to be fitted on a single spray-line and activated singly or in pairs to provide a wide range of application rates.
