JF-STOLL has unveiled its latest-generation front-mounted mower conditioners. The GXF Contour Float takes the suspension movement of this type of mower into a new league compared to previous designs and competitors.
    Contour Float provides the GXF range with exceptionally good ground contour following abilities, which ensure a good working quality and perfect stubble, even under difficult ground conditions. The new suspension system allows 12 degrees of sideways inclination, a total vertical movement of 55cm and a 16-degrees of tilt forwards and backwards enabling the cutter-bar to stay parallel to the ground.
    In addition to the great flexibility of the cutting unit, the Contour Float GXF front mower ensures high safety as the cutting unit is suspended and trailed in a headstock. This means that the cutting unit in the case of collision with protruding stones or debris moves back and upwards. Contour Float, thereby, absorbs the impact and safeguards the machine, even at high speed.
    Another reason for the good working quality is the unique JF-Stoll cutter bar. This is low compared to similar cutter bars on the market, which makes it possible to achieve low and clean stubble where desired.

The GFX Contour Float system provides exceptionally good ground contour following abilities.

    A strong guide shoe covering the whole width is integrated in the cutter bar. This means that the cutter bar gets an extremely smooth underside that protects the plant crown to ensure quick re-growth.
    The GXF machine is as equipped with Quick'n'Safe discs that allow quick replacement of blades. The GFX is also equipped with JF-Stoll's well-known PE conditioner, that ensures effective conditioning with minimum weight.
    The GXF3205P has a power requirement of about 90hp, but is most likely to be used in combination with rear-mounted/trailed units, so it has been built to accommodate large tractors up to, and even more than, 300hp. The 1,000rpm driveline is via a centrally mounted gearbox with clockwise and anti clockwise rotation as standard. A slip clutch protects the drive line from sudden shocks.
    Attachment to the tractor requires an A-frame for simplicity and speed.
