McConnel launched its new trailed Discaerator at Cereals 2010.
McConnel’s Discaerator cultivator is now available as a 4m trailed unit costing £40,000. With a power requirement of at least 250hp, the unit was seen for the first time at cereals 2010. The new machine was built following excellent customer response to the company’s 3m mounted Discaerator that was launched two years ago. A 5m model is also now under development. The McConnel Discaerator comes with an option of mechanical or hydraulic breakback legs. The hydraulic break back legs have a auto re-set function that allows the legs to reset independently without any operator input. There are two rows of 500mm concave, serrated discs that are individually
mounted on a
suspension unit giving a
shock proof, durable system with low maintenance and 60mm
travel for added protection. At the back there's a Ridge Packer Roller that comes in two sizes - 600mm and 800mm. Designed to
give the
best possible finish for all
conditions, 71mm ridges on the roller give a high-quality
compacted finish creating a
perfect seedbed after just one pass.
