Simba: Three new products to be launched at Lamma 2011

Published on October 7, 2010

Simba will launch three new cultivation products at the 2011 Lamma Show including a deep-working cultivator and a folding subsoiler.
The news is included in a leaflet promoting the company's latest finance scheme.
The first machine is the SLD, a deep-tined version of the SL cultivator. Currently in the final stages of field testing, it incorporates some of the principles of the Solo, and aims to bridge the gap between the two machines.
In field trials the machine has left an excellent level finish, while also doing an effective loosening operation at up to 35cms deep.

The TL range represents a new tined cultivator for stubble incorporation and cultivation of lighter soils. Also nearing the end of field tests, 3.0m and 3.5m models are likely to be launched first, with a 4.0m folding model following.
Simba will also extend its FlatLiner range with two new folding models for use with high-horsepower tractors. Designed to work alongside cultivators such as the Simba SL600 or SL700, where farmers need to rotationally sub-soil to help maintain soil structure, the 450 model (4.5m working width) will be available in 2011, with a 600 (6.0m) model due to be introduced in 2012.
Both models fold hydraulically to less than 3m for road transport.
