The new HE-VA Triple Tiller enables high speed cultivation and has a maximum working depth of 300mm.
Opico will launching the He-Va Triple Tiller - a high speed stubble cultivator with three rows of tines, designed to work the ground down to a maximum depth of 300mm, at Lamma 2011.
The tines can either come fitted with chisel points for deep cultivation and residue incorporation, or alternatively with duckfoot shares to cultivate the whole ground at a shallower depth for min-till or stale seedbeds.
A quick-fit version of tine is also available to give the flexibility of having both options; especially useful where soil types are vary, or to best suit the different conditions encountered in spring and autumn cultivations.
At the back of the He-Va Triple Tiller, a row of leveling tines and a V-profile roller ensure that a level consolidated finish is achieved.
"The Triple Tiller was developed in response to market demand not only for faster moving cultivators than the traditional disc-based ones, but also for a simpler machine with less moving parts," Opico managing director James Woolway said. "We have also ensured there are plenty of extra options so machines can be adapted according to the type of cultivation required and the conditions.
"For instance, for heavier soils, the leveling tines can be replaced with leveling discs. The option to have both duckfoot shares or chisel points also adds to the versatility of the Triple Tiller."
Machines come as standard with reversible and height adjustable Durox hard-wearing points, leveling tines and lights.
