Vicon has continued the expansion of its dealer network with the appointment of the Darley Dale branch of the Platts Harris business.
    Located near Matlock, this new branch strengthens Vicon’s position in Derbyshire, enabling Platts
Harris to offer a comprehensive range of Vicon grassland equipment, including mowers, tedders, rakes,
balers and wrappers, to its Peak District customers.
    “We are pleased to be associated with such a strong dealer in Derbyshire,” Vicon sales manager David Furber said. “It puts us into an important grassland area, which will help us to build out core business of selling and supporting grass equipment.”
    Platts Harris managing director Simon Wilson is equally as enthusiastic about the addition of the Vicon franchise to the Darley Dale branch.
    “Vicon grass equipment will complement our existing New Holland tractor business and enable us to deliver a much broader product range for our customers,” he said.
