KUHN has developed its shallow cultivator range with the addition of the Optimer + in mounted and trailed formats. Available in 3.0m, 4.0m, 6.0m and 7.5m working width formats, this machine is designed as an independent disc tool for shallow stubble cultivation as part of a minimum tillage system.
Compared with earlier versions of the machine, the Optimer + has improved clearance and new disc angles to allow greater passage of plant residues. There is also a choice of discs, with the standard 510mm diameter notched and curved version offering increased versatility and an option of conical discs (also 510mm) with smaller notches for shallower work.
The Optimer + is designed for reduced maintenance with the disc hubs lubricated for life and fitted with double-row angular contact ball bearings.
