The Multi-Leader semi-mounted plough is new from Kuhn.
New to Kuhn's semi-mounted
reversible plough range is the single-wheel Multi-Leader, positioned as a
high-output machine for medium- to high-power tractors.
Tests by Germany's
Kiel Polytechnic have shown that Lemken's DuraMaxx wearing plough parts
can last up to 78 per cent longer than the company's conventional
components.
Lemken’s proven range
of semi-mounted ploughs has been further improved with the launch of
the Diamant 11 and 12 series models. Retaining the 160 mm beam of the
Diamant 10, the new machines include a number of new features such as
the DuraMaxx bodies fitted to the Juwel mounted plough range.
Furrow presses that are
fully mounted on the plough can offer a practical and time-saving
solution by avoiding the need for a separate transport tractor. The new
FlexPack from Lemken is just such an integrated packer, which can deal
easily with variable working widths for mounted and semi-mounted
ploughs.
The flexibility to
switch between on-land and in-furrow ploughing was demonstrated by
Kuhn’s Multi-Master 182 at the Tillage-Live event in mid-September.
Primarily designed for on-land draught straight behind the tractor, this
plough can be switched to in-furrow mode by activating an hydraulic
valve.
LEMKEN exhibited its new
Juwel mounted plough at Agritechnica 2009. Successor to the successful
Opal series, it offers the high-quality work of its predecessor together with new options and enhanced user-friendliness.
PÖTTINGER has introduced a
new generation of ploughs, the new semi-mounted Servo 6.50, that
combines the characteristics of mounted and semi-mounted ploughs.
AUSTRIAN manufacturer Pöttinger continues to develop its product range with the semi-mounted Servo 6.50 plough that combines the characteristics of mounted and semi-mounted models.
