Demand is growing for fertiliser placement in rape and cereal seeding. For this reason, Lemken has added a 6m grain and fertiliser version of the Compact-Solitair with Heliodor-based cultivation section. Seed and fertiliser are placed simultaneously, with the fertiliser placed between the seed rows.
Agritechnica 2011 will see Lemken unveiling its trailed Compact-Solitair drill combination with power harrow in a 3m working width version. The 3,500-litre hopper gives the unit greater field efficiency than a mounted drill, with a single filling allowing seeding of up to 20ha of wheat
