Farm fungicides

    BASF has launched a new cereal fungicide, Adexar, based on active ingredient Xemium. Approved for use in wheat, barley, oats, rye and triticale, the new product comes from the SDHI group of chemistry.
    Cereal growers will have the option of a powerful new weapon in their fungicide armoury next spring after BASF's unique SDHI fungicide Xemium was approved by the Chemicals Regulation Directorate.
    BASF's new Eco Pack range of easy-use, easy-rinse packaging will be launched in the UK this spring for two of the company's most widely used cereal fungicides, Tracker and Opus.
    BASF has received approval for two new triazole-based cereal fungicides in time for the 2009 growing season.
    OILSEED rape growers can look forward to a cost-effective new option for disease control this autumn, following the first UK product launch for global crop protection company Rotam.
