Amazone
has introduced a new weigh-cell spreader in the 1,000-litre hopper size
class. The new ZA-M 1001 Special Profis benefits from electronic
weighing technology that, so far, has been only been available for
spreaders with larger hopper capacities.
A new Mercedes-Benz Unimog U500 operated by Yorkshire-based farm contractor JE
Coning & Sons, has been fitted with a 6.5 cubic metre fertiliser
spreader thanks to a design modifications by Richard Coning and the
manufacturers of the Danish Bredal spreader.
With nitrogen
fertiliser prices well above £300/t it is more important than ever to
ensure this precious input is applied as accurately and evenly as
possible to ensure the best returns and to protect the environment.
Amazone now offers
its FertiliserService as an App for smartphones. Starting initially as
an app for Apple's iPhone, smartphones from other manufacturers will
soon be available.

of an integrated lighting system, warning signs and guard rail.
THE well-established
Centreliner broadcaster, Roterra power harrow, Polymat pneumatic drill
and Multidisc disc harrow from Dutch manufacturer Tulip have been added
